Please be careful when piping the valve!
We held a basic training session on valves for end users. The purpose was to reflect on last year and improve our fundamentals. This is based on points of caution from the Japan Valve Manufacturers Association and actual cases that occurred. One case involved forgetting to remove the protective pad before connecting the piping, which led to a leak during a water flow test. Another case was incorrectly installing the flow direction of a swing check valve, resulting in the check valve not operating and fluid not flowing. These situations pose risks that can lead to equipment damage, disasters, and additional construction costs. I believe that with a little knowledge and small awareness, such issues can be prevented.
